Part 5 – Tweaking the template to create your website or blog

Note:  If you continued from the previous topic chances are that your webpage has already refreshed to display the following. In case you didn’t click Customize in the previous topic, click Customize from the Appearance menu.

2.   Move and look around the page.

Note:  By default the name of your Site Title and the Tagline are imported from the General tab that you created in the previous Basic Fine Tuning topic.

Click the edit pencil button  to access the controls for editing the corresponding element on the left of the page.  Almost every element of your template can be tweaked using the Customizer.

To quit without saving changes made, click the “X” button on the top left corner of the Customizer.

3.   Click the “X” of the customizer for now to quit.
