Part 3 – Creating your account on Bluehost

On clicking Create your account you are presented with the following page and fields.

1.  Enter your password in the Create Password and Retype Password fields.

Note: Create a strong password. You are guided in doing so. Also make a note of your password.

Your form looks as in the image below if you have successfully created your password and filled the forms.

2.  Check the checkbox for the terms and click Create Account.

The following confirmation is displayed once your account has been successfully created.

Successful account creation, Go to Login invite.

3.  Click on go to login. You webpage is refreshed displaying a login and password fields to log into your account.

Note: By default your domain name is already inserted into the Email or Domain Name field.

Important: Copy the URL of the login webpage. In case you haven’t it is – https://my.bluehost.com/cgi/app/login

4.  Enter the password of your account in the Password field and click Log In.  On successful login you are taken to your account on Bluehost.

Note: Since this is your first login you are prompted with several options as shown in the images below. You may click Skip this step for these as these functions are explained in subsequent pages.

You are now prompted to install a theme. All WordPress sites require a theme. Detailed instruction on how to choose and install a template is explained in a subsequent page. 

5.  Scroll down the page and click Skip for now.

You are taken to your Dashboard on Bluehost and you must see the following.

6.  Click on your user initials (to be replaced with a pic later) and from th drop-down menu click Logout to logout of your account.

7.  Login to check your account and Logout.
